How to View Saved Passwords in Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge’s password manager can store passwords for various websites as well as associated email addresses and usernames. In this article, we explain how to view these passwords.

How to View Passwords in Microsoft Edge

1. Step:

Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three-dot menu. Then go to “Settings“.

Click “Profiles” in the left column and select a profile if you have saved more than one. Then click on “Passwords“.

Under “Saved passwords” you can now see how many passwords have been saved by Edge. Click on the eye icon next to the password you want to display.

If necessary, the “Windows Security” window opens. There you must now enter your PIN code. Your password will then be displayed. If you use macOS, as in this example, you must enter your Touch ID or your password.

Quick Start Guide

  • Open Microsoft Edge, click on the three-dot menu, and then on “Settings”.
  • Now go to “Profiles” and select a profile if you have more than one saved. Next, click on “Passwords.”
  • Under “Saved passwords” you will find your passwords saved in Edge. Click on the eye icon next to the password you want to view.
